The main core values of the Answer Health Senior Care Advantage Program are:

PERSONAL PHYSICIAN: Each patient has an ongoing relationship with a personal physician who offers continuous and comprehensive care.

PHYSICIAN-DIRECTED MEDICAL CARE: The personal physician leads a team of individuals who collectively follow the ongoing care of each patient.

COMPREHENSIVE APPROACH: The personal physician provides for all the patient's health care needs, reminding the patient about needed services or arranging for care from other health care professionals. This includes care for all stages of life, including acute care, chronic care, preventive services and end-of-life care.

COORDINATED CARE: The care management team coordinates the care patients need such as specialty care, hospitalizations, and diagnostic testing.

Medicare Advantage plans are typically run and managed by the insurance company that offers it. You can use the doctors in the network, but the insurance company approves and covers the care you get. The Answer Health Senior Care Advantage program changes that model and puts you and your physician at the center of your care. In our agreements with health plans, the primary care physicians and your health care team work directly with you to make the health care decisions and provide the education to help keep you healthy and avoid unnecessary procedures, hospital stays, and medications.  The program officially will begin on January 1, 2022, and is the only program in the greater West Michigan area that provides this level of service for seniors.

Finding the right Medicare plan requires careful consideration. Answer Health offers a free Medicare Insurance Infoline, staffed by licensed brokers who represent all accepted Medicare plans.

These agents represent accepted Medicare plans (including Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplements and Medicare Prescription plans) and always make sure patients receive unbiased information on those plans.
